March 5 topic - Digital Payments: Choosing the Right Digital Payment Solution for Your Small Business
With so many digital payment options available, how do you know which one is the best fit for your business? Join us for a Tech Talk session designed to help small business owners navigate the world of digital payments. We'll break down the key differences between credit card processors, mobile wallets, peer-to-peer payment apps, and online payment platforms, so you can choose the solution that works best for your customers and bottom line.

Financials 101

Every small business owner should know how to keep detailed records of the daily transactions involved in their business. They create reports that allow management, stakeholders and regulating authorities to have insight into the financial health of the organization. As the business owner, you need to understand the metrics that are reported in the cash flow and income statements, and balance sheets and how they relate to each other. This workshop will go over all three of these topics and show examples of each one.

The speaker will be Awilda Irizarry, senior business advisor and financial specialist with the Massachusetts SBDC - Northeast Region.

Pitching your business idea can be challenging. To deliver a compelling pitch that informs and inspires, you must demonstrate a clear understanding of the problem, the target market, and the potential for profit. In this presentation, we will break down the fundamentals of a successful business pitch into ten easy steps, complete with a real-world example.

Credit cards are accepted ONLY for the Massachusetts Export Center's events. Your spot is reserved once payment is received by the appropriate office. Training programs may be added or cancelled; the training schedule is subject to change.
