Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network

Manufacturing and Onshoring Hub

welderThe Massachusetts Small Business Development Center (MSBDC) is committed to helping manufacturers across the state grow, innovate, and compete.

In 2025, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced its new Made in America Manufacturing Initiative, which aims to empower American small business manufacturers. SBA is leading a task force that is laser-focused on growing American-based manufacturers.

The Made in America Manufacturing Initiative commits to a deeper collaboration and coordination of federal agency resources designed to:

  • Increase access to capital
  • Improve opportunities for public and private investments in support of manufacturing in America
  • Help small businesses export their products on a global scale

The MSBDC offers a broad range of targeted, customized services to help small and mid-sized manufacturers in Massachusetts to compete globally, with a focus on business planning and strategy, financing, operations, compliance and market development. If you are a manufacturer seeking to receive no-charge, confidential assistance from the MSBDC, please click on the Request for Advising button below. All clients are required to complete a Request for Advising prior to receiving services. Services are provided in a nondiscriminatory way to all legal residents and citizens in the U.S. A staff member will be in touch soon to schedule an appointment with a business advisor.
