Dickinson Fine Art Restoration and Conservation

Dickinson Fine Art(Wellfleet, MA)  Debra Dickinson, founder of Dickinson Fine Art Restoration and Conservation, treats traditional easel paintings, murals, and polychrome objects. Her practice spans Old Master Renaissance paintings, Spanish Colonial Art, and American Art, including contemporary works.

Ms. Dickinson received her training at the Rhode Island School of Design’s prestigious European honors program. Prior to starting her own company, Ms. Dickinson worked at the Williamstown Art Conservation Center in Williamstown, MA. There she treated paintings belonging to more than 20 affiliated museums throughout the Northeast United States.

In 1990 Ms. Dickinson started her sole proprietorship. She came to the Massachusetts SBDC for assistance in a number of areas. One issue required assistance in resolving a complex client issue which required intensive advising and resulted in a positive outcome. In addition to advising and strategizing, Ms. Dickinson was able to take advantage of other resources including the Massachusetts SBDC free legal clinic. The Massachusetts SBDC also helped Ms. Dickinson win a contract for $270,000 for art restoration from a prestigious Cape Cod private museum. This represents the largest single contract in her business history.

The Massachusetts SBDC will continue to work together as Ms. Dickinson grows her business.

Thank you so much! I feel uplifted, inspired and motivated. What a difference having your support and expertise! ~ Debra Dickinson, Founder
