Anne Fenton, Client Services Coordinator

Anne joined the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network in May 2014. She has a rich background having worked with health and human service agencies, non-profit organizations, and in the public sector. She has over 20 years experience in development, marketing, operations management, volunteer organization, staff training, and trade show production.

While living in southern California, Anne produced computer trade shows on military bases and worked with a handheld computer company as a marketing librarian. Upon returning home to Massachusetts, she pursued a career in fundraising and grant writing for the United Way, a skilled nursing facility, and Health Leads. As operations manager for a managed care organization, she oversaw the facilities operations, communications, and personnel management for the local regional office.  

Anne’s passion for volunteerism lead her to the presidency of Taunton’s WEIR Corporation, a board member position with New Bedford’s Waterfront Historic Area League, engagement with various local non-profit agencies, and a number of years as a political activist.

Anne studied business, marketing, and advertising at Worcester State College and Orange Coast College and holds certificates in meeting and convention management.
