Request for Counseling

  

The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network provides free and confidential business advice and free and low-cost training to prospective and existing entrepreneurs in Massachusetts. In order to better serve you, business advisors are available by appointment only. Sorry, we cannot accommodate walk-ins.

We offer online registration for business advisory services. Please select the appropriate Request for Counseling link below. Your completed information will automatically be sent to the selected office and a staff member will contact you for an appointment. If you are unsure which office to use for services, please click on the "Find the Closest Office" or "Network Listing" links below.

If you cannot complete the online Request for Counseling, please contact the appropriate regional or specialty office for assistance. All clients are required to complete and sign our Request for Counseling in order to receive business advisory services.

Emails from our offices originate from @msbdc.umass.edu, @umass.edu, @massexport.org, @salemstate.edu and @clarku.edu. We also frequently use centeric@clients.msbdc.org. Please add these domains/senders to your approved sender list. We typically respond to emails and requests for counseling in 2-3 business days (see exception* below). If you do not hear from us within this timeframe, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still not find the email, please call the appropriate regional or specialty center office.

By contacting the appropriate regional office and requesting at least two weeks in advance, every attempt will be made to reasonably accommodate persons with disabilities and those who need translation services.

The Northeast Regional Office at Salem State University typically responds to emails and requests for counseling in 2-3 business days. * Please note that the Greater Boston Regional Office is currently experiencing an extremely high demand for services and there is a longer wait time than usual for appointments. You can expect to meet with an advisor 2-3 weeks after receipt of your completed Request for Counseling. We are sorry for the inconvenience and look forward to meeting with you to help with your business needs.
