Award Summary for FY16
The Massachusetts Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Program successfully completed the 17th year assisting small businesses interested in doing business with federal, state, local governments and Prime Contractors. Total award dollars for the 12-month period ending September 30, 2016 was $45.3 million.
Two government contracting advisory areas
(Central & Southeastern Massachusetts) are funded by SBA resources.
SBA tracks government contracting metrics differently than the
Defense Logistics Agency. Therefore, SBA-funded award data is not
included for Years 11-17 in bar graph below. The 17-year cumulative
award total is $1.205 billion.

Demand for PTAC counseling services was steady with 1,008 active clients during the reporting period which included 162 new clients requesting services.
