Award Summary for FY23
The Massachusetts APEX Accelerator program successfully completed its 24th year assisting small businesses interested in doing business with federal, state, local governments and Prime Contractors. Total award dollars for the 12-month period ending June 30, 2023 was a record at $268.4 million. One government contracting advisory area (Central Massachusetts) is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) resources, which tracks government contracting metrics differently than the Department of Defense (DoD). Results Summary
Demand for Massachusetts APEX counseling services remained
steady (during the post-pandemic period) with 606 active clients,
which included 435 new clients requesting Massachusetts APEX services.
Department of Defense (DoD)-funded APEX staff spent 2,081 hours in
