(BSB) monthly webinar series is designed for business leaders who
want to grow and improve their companies. The program will focus on
fine-tuning marketing, financial and operational strategies. The
end-goal of each monthly module is to produce an actionable
implementation plan.

Module 1 - Sizing Up Your Business This module will guide you through some key questions about your business. The objective is to help you create a framework to help you improve the performance of your business and guide its growth. As you sharpen your skills in strategic thinking and decision making, you will be making fact-based decisions rather than guesses, and you will learn to push your business beyond the status quo, answering the strategic questions “what are my vision and long-term goal?” and “is my business doing the right things?” The presenters will be Margaret Young, MBA and Wendy Vincent, MBA. Module 2 - Exploring Growth Opportunities Profitability is a primary measure of a business’s ultimate success and longevity, this module explores growth opportunities that focus on sales and profitability. Sales increases come from expansions in markets served, target customers reached, products and services offered, and other business expanding methods. In Module 1, you began your analysis by evaluating your current business situation, clarifying your three-year vision, and setting goals to achieve it. This module will help you evaluate growth indicators that show your business’s readiness for growth. In addition, you will assess the industry’s own potential for growth and identify and screen opportunities for your business. Module 3 - Making Strategic
Decisions Registration is closed. In this module, the entrepreneur will strengthen her or his ability to make strategic decisions as they work on business strategy. This business strategy will provide a plan and blueprint to accomplish articulated goals and achieve the articulated vision. What opportunities, identified in Module 2, will you incorporate in your strategy? What activities and actions will be part of your plan to grow your business? As you work on your business strategy, you will consider your competitive advantage, business model, and exit strategy. Module 2 exercises of Identify and Screening Growth Opportunities and determining market potential will be incorporated into this module's strategic decision-making discussion. Module 4 - Using Financial Tools This module focuses on the financial aspects of your business. Your existing business and new research will provide you with the information you need to complete a preliminary three-year forecast of profits. Then you will use the Financial Template, or another budgeting tool, to develop a three-year operating budget that supports your vision and strategy.
