The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network's Southeast Regional Office provides free and confidential business advice to small businesses in southeastern Massachusetts. As a business owner, you have a million decisions to make. You are not alone! We can help with high quality, confidential, no cost business advice. We look forward to working with you!

Areas of assistance include, but are not limited to: start-up businesses, business plan development, financial plan development, marketing and sales strategies, cash flow analysis, organizational and personnel issues, government procurement assistance and international trade assistance.

Entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to meet with a business advisor, for an hour-long session, at one of our outreach centers to discuss anything from new business startups to existing business strategies. Appointments are required and subject to availability.

Business Training

The Southeast Regional Office conducts low-cost seminars and workshops addressing a wide range of concerns for both start-up and existing businesses. Many of these programs are cosponsored with local chambers of commerce, colleges and universities, community development organizations, banks and trade associations. International Trade Assistance

Massachusetts Export CenterThe Massachusetts Export Center offers a wide range of targeted, customized services to Massachusetts businesses at any stage in the export process. These services include: export counseling and technical assistance, international market research and assessment, international business development assistance, export training programs and export publications. Procurement Assistance

Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Assistance

The SBIR program is a highly competitive program that encourages domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) that has the potential for commercialization. Through a competitive awards-based program, SBIR enables small businesses to explore their technological potential and provides the incentive to profit from its commercialization. By including qualified small businesses in the nation's R&D arena, high-tech innovation is stimulated and the United States gains entrepreneurial spirit as it meets its specific research and development needs.
