Request for Counseling

The mission of the Massachusetts Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is to provide marketing and procurement assistance to Massachusetts businesses interested in selling their goods or services to federal, state or local governments.

In order to access the services of the Massachusetts PTAC, you must meet the following three criteria:

(1) Your business must be headquartered in Massachusetts
(2) You must be in business for at least two years
(3) Must have a valid e-mail and Internet access

Confidential counseling services are provided at no charge. Nominal fees are charged for some seminars and conferences.

Please note: As part of the agreement to receive counseling services, PTAC clients are required to complete quarterly online surveys in order to continue receiving services.

If you are a new business owner with less than two years in business
, you can receive free and confidential counseling assistance through the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network (MSBDC). Visit their website at www.msbdc.org.

The MSBDC provides high-quality, in-depth counseling, training and capital access which contributes to the entrepreneurial growth of small businesses throughout Massachusetts. Services are delivered through a network of skilled professional staff supported by a federal, state, and higher education consortium as well as several partnerships. Counseling services are provided at no charge.
